The Subsea Shear from Genesis Attachments is an underwater cutter that has been pressure tested to operate at depths down to 10,000 feet for demanding offshore applications.
 

Available with 32- or 46-inch jaw openings, the GSS features anti-corrosion primer and paint for supreme protection in harsh marine applications such as:

• Offshore platform decommissioning

• Pipeline and piling cutting

• Underwater steel cutting

Multi-position rigging further enhances the Subsea Shear's versatility as a platform decommissioning shear, underwater cutter and underwater hydraulic shear, enabling it to be cable-hung and operated by a subsea power pack or from surface power.
 

For additional corrosion protection and functionality, this Genesis underwater cutter features:

• Xylan® anti-corrosion coated fasteners and critical surfaces

• A heavy duty pivot design with sealed, greaseable pivot points

• Zinc anodes

• Holes along the top and bottom of the shear body for easy water drainage
